Private Instruction

Traditionally, yoga was taught one-on-one based on the specific needs of the student and their individual body. Private instruction is an excellent way to begin your yoga practice or to deepen your existing practice, letting you discover things that might be overlooked in a larger class experience. It is an ideal setting to explore and focus on your needs. One-on-one attention ensures that you are mindfully aware of the poses and in the proper alignment, taking into consideration any modifications due to injury or restriction of movement. 

The exact nature of private instruction will vary depending on the needs and personal goals of each student but the result remains the same: to improve personal health and well-being specific to your physical and emotional state. Instruction may target key areas where balance, strength and mobility can be improved and self-confidence can build into perhaps joining a class setting or creating and deepening your own private practice.

Yoga With Hope Studio (West-end)

Instruction takes place in Yoga With Hope’s intimate in-home studio, or in the comfort of your own home, chalet or cottage, at your preferred time. Keep in mind it is best to schedule private sessions at a time when your home is quiet and free of distractions. 

Semi-private instruction is also available and limited to 3 students. Bringing along a couple of friends on your yoga journey might be just the thing for you. 
 

Things to Note:

  • Students are asked to supply their own yoga mat for hygienic reasons.

  • All fees are listed on the “Fees” page.

  • All cancellations must be received within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. After the 24 hours, you will be charged for the missed or cancelled appointment.
